Clinical Research Fellow, Trainee in Emergency Medicine
A final year trainee in Emergency Medicine in the West of Scotland David is currently out of programme as a Research Fellow for the University of Glasgow.
David splits his time between completing an MD in Decision Making in Acute Care and a variety of other projects with RRG, EMERGE and Glasgow University. His main collaboration is with Gareth Clegg and Alastair Dewar looking at optimising performance in out of hospital cardiac arrest and video analysis of Non-Technical Skills. Increasingly a satellite unit for EMERGE in the West helping lead RAPID CTCa recruitment in Glasgow Royal Infirmary. The main role of his supervisors is to curb his enthusiasm and channel his curiosity.
Beyond medicine a worrying obsession with lycra and carbon has taken hold that he hopes to one day be cured of.
