Job Opportunity for a Research Fellow

Applications are now being considered for the post of EMERGE Trainee Research Fellow from August 2019.

Applicants should be ST4 or ST5 trainees in Emergency Medicine. This post will allow the successful applicant 4 hours dedicated research time per week which will take the place of clinical work. The post is initially for 6 months with an option to extend to one year.

During this time, the applicant will be become the South East Scotland lead for the RCEM TERN (Trainee Emergency Research Network; https://www.rcemlearning.co.uk/foamed/about-tern) project and become the local PI for TERN projects including the HEAD study.

The hours can be worked flexibly over fortnightly periods around other clinical, training and personal commitments. This post has been approved by the EM TPD and CD and will aim to start in August 2019.
