Susie works as a Consultant in Emergency Medicine (EM) at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (RIE). Susie completed her Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Medical Education at the University of Edinburgh in 2024, undertaking qualitative work exploring how medical students learn about the role of emotion in clinical reasoning. She is the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) Speciality Tutor for EM reflecting her ongoing interest in medical education. She is the PI for the CESER study at RIE.
