Yasmin Campbell

Yasmin qualified in Edinburgh in Adult Nursing in 2011 at Edinburgh Napier University. She started her career working in acute medicine, and then moving on to work within critical care department within the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Yasmin has spent the majority of her career working in Intensive Care in England, living in both the Midlands and North West of England in Manchester for 9 years. Whilst living in England she also completed a Masters Degree in Public Health Nutrition and a project management qualification. On her return to Edinburgh Yasmin worked within the colorectal department clinically as a specialist nurse for a couple of years. Throughout her career she has had a keen interest in health promotion, disease prevention and the focus on the improvement of patient care and experiences. Yasmin’s main drive for wanting to work within a research environment was to amalgamate her skills and clinical knowledge within research to help improve patient outcomes and clinical practice.
