High Flow humidified oxygen as an early intervention in children with Acute Severe Asthma: a randomised controlled trial.

Open-label, two arm, individually randomised, parallel group trial

Primary objective of the Trial is to determine whether early HiFlo (commenced within 4 hours of starting high dose inhaled “burst” therapy) reduces the need for escalation to intravenous bronchodilator therapy.
