Anuka has had a passion for making a tangible positive impact on the wider population through her work since she switched careers from Linguistics to Nursing. She qualified as a nurse in Finland and moved to Scotland in 2023. Adjusting to a new country has its challenges, but switching from critical care to clinical research has meant she is confronted with exciting and varying challenges every day delivering research that will shape tomorrow’s clinical practice, all within a supportive team of knowledgeable and fun colleagues.
Her main drive for working in research is its potential to improve practice all around the world, especially in low and middle-income countries. As a Mongolian native, she is passionate about delivering research that transcends income levels and borders to improve health outcomes around the world.
