Sacha studied applied psychology Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh and then studied research methods in psychology at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow with an interest in the application of research to improve people’s health.
In 2022, She started a position as a research and data assistant for a children’s charity that focuses on paediatric surgery. The time at the charity developed a strong interest in paediatric health related research, and she enjoyed seeing how research could have an impact on the healthcare provided.
Sacha started working with the EMERGE team in February 2023 and she enjoys that in her role as a clinical trial assistant she gets to expand upon her previous research knowledge, and get hands-on experience in a clinical research setting.
