On Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd of November 2018, we are inviting you to EMERGE10: Powered by Curiosity, a celebratory conference marking EMERGE’s 10th Anniversary!
The themes of the conference are Innovation, Education, Pre-Hospital Care and Global Health. We will be focusing on the latest research in emergency medicine and the advancement made in the last decade.
It’s not all serious and we think 10 years is worth celebrating so we would love you to join us for a ceilidh in the evening. This is organised in partnership with Medic One.
To confirm your attendance to the conference and the ceilidh (optional), please book your place using the link below:
If paying online is not the best option for you, please email us email@example.com.
We’re excited to present an amazing programme which will feature many renowned International and UK speakers discussing a wide range of topics relevant to pre-hospital, emergency and critical care medicine. More are being finalised all the time.

If you would like to submit a poster for the conference then we’d love to hear from you. We are looking for projects that are pushing innovation and asking questions about how we deliver care.
The closing date for submission of abstracts is Monday 10th September 2018 at 12.00 pm (GMT).
Applicants will receive email notifications containing a decision about their submission from Monday 8th October 2018.
Alternatively, please post FAO Dr Matt Reed, EMERGE, Emergency Department, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, 51 Little France Crescent, Edinburgh EH16 4SA.
Submission guidelines: All abstracts should be written in English. There will be no oral presentations at the Conference. All abstracts will be reviewed and shortlisted for poster display. There will be a prize for the best poster and also the best student poster (abstract submitted by a student with student as first author)
The conference will be at The Hub, Castlehill, Edinburgh, EH1 2NE. Just below Edinburgh Castle right in the city centre, it is a 10mins walk from Waverley train station and easily access to the airport via tram or bus.
Because of the location, there are no parking facilities, though there is plenty of space for guests to be dropped off and picked up. There is a large NCP car park about ten minutes away on Castle Terrace and there is some street parking around the Grassmarket area at the foot of the hill.
There are many great places to stay in Edinburgh, whether you are looking for a high-end hotel or a cosy B&B. You can search and book your accommodation through the VisitScotland website.
